Katarina (Kat) is a dirt-simple character based around poking and counterhit-baiting. She is great for beginners due to her low execution requirements and simple gameplan. She scales with the strength of your fundamentals, and has a good amount of cheese to keep things exciting.
Katarina's Harrier stance transitions and mix-ups can easily play neutral for you, putting the onus on your opponent to defend correctly. However, against opponents who turtle up and step right constantly, Katarina can struggle.

- Simple Gameplan: Katarina's strong df+1, d+4, 4,4 and uf+4,4 allow her to easily start playing a fundamental Tekken poking game.
- Easy Execution: Katarina's inputs and combos are as easy as they come, with no qcfs or tight links in sight.
- Counterhit Monster: Katarina has a good collection of CH tools in df+4, b+4 and d+2 that cover a wide variety of timings and ranges.
