: HVN is a bit more in line with the T8 acronyms: HAE was analogous to TAW (both the second step in the cat stances in T7), but now all the stances are shortened forms of a single noun. But would need to see substantive use elsewhere to recommend a change, since it's still the same stance visually as T7 and (unlike TAW → WLF) the English localization hasn't changed, so consistency has value here. --[[User:RogerDodger|RogerDodger]] ([[User talk:RogerDodger|talk]]) 00:05, 29 July 2024 (UTC) |

Replace HAE with HVN
Issue: whether Lidia's Heaven and Earth stance should be abbreviated as HAE or HVN.
Current Status: It is abbreviated as HAE in the T8 Wavu movelist first written by User:Kalki. This was because -
- HAE was the acronym used for the stance in Tekken 7.
- HAE seems to be in common usage on Tekken forums like the Lidia Discord and across various tutorial content being published for Lidia (needs citation?).
Proposed Change: To switch the acronym to HVN, as proposed by User:Ggbhtg. As per the comment associated with the change, this was done for reasons of clarity/speed.
- HVN is a bit more in line with the T8 acronyms: HAE was analogous to TAW (both the second step in the cat stances in T7), but now all the stances are shortened forms of a single noun. But would need to see substantive use elsewhere to recommend a change, since it's still the same stance visually as T7 and (unlike TAW → WLF) the English localization hasn't changed, so consistency has value here. --RogerDodger (talk) 00:05, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
