A move consists of an animation and properties it applies to a player on every frame such as a change of player's position, hurtboxes, hitboxes, active attack frames, active parry frames and many more.

Examples

When a player is not pressing anything and character is just standing, it is a move with unique animation for every character and that doesn't have any attack frames and parry frames, as well as many other properties other moves have in Tekken.

Another example of a move would be Paul's 1. In this case it is an attack move: it has start attack frame and final attack frame.
