I think a lot of what's written here seems more broadly applicable than to just CH fishing in particular. CH fishing kind of just means "use your CH buttons for their CH behaviours" which in itself doesn't need much elaboration. Whereas what's written here regarding pattern recognition, conditioning, etc. can also all apply just as well to using non-CH buttons in response to your reads.
Maybe reorganizing the page overall to be about reads or conditioning would be better? --RodgerDodger on the Wavu Discord
General thoughts about how the content could be better abstracted -
- reads are about predicting opponent behavior
- Making good reads allows for ch fishing, better defense, better keep out and better whiff punishment, better mixups, better offense
- Various game state and psychological factors influence opponent behavior in a situation
- Conditioning can be used to intentionally influence behavior
