For crouch dashes, sways, and other motion input stances I think it would be good to use a generic abbreviation for these. It would reduce the number of abbreviations people have to learn and recognize, which seems more important now that Tekken 8 has a lot of stances.

I suggest all qcf and f,n,d,df stances be abbreviated CD, and all qcb stances or stances that visually sway backwards be abbreviated Sway. Exception could be made for stances that already had extensive use in Tekken 7 or prior. [[User:RogerDodger|RogerDodger]] ([[User talk:RogerDodger|talk]]) 04:31, 1 February 2024 (UTC)

Should we have a rule that all character specific stances are three letter acryonyms? I think it would be best if we could have the icons somewhere in the move list instead of the notation. It would be clearer for beginners. I don't mind going over a move list and manually adding the icons or something but I don't know how to integrate them in the current format we have for the move lists.

For Tekken 7 movelists, "Rage" replaces "Heat". For Tekken 8 movelists, Rage Art goes under Others.

Are you sure you want this to be the convention? It doesn't reflect the in-game movelists. --winn0w (talk) 02:23, 24 January 2024 (UTC)

I figured since they're all the same input and same frames in T8 they don't need special prominence. --RogerDodger (talk) 09:13, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

Crouch dash, sway, etc. abbreviations

Exception could be made for abbreviations that already had extensive use in Tekken 7 or prior. RogerDodger (talk) 04:31, 1 February 2024 (UTC)

Gifs for the bot

Should we include gifs or mp4 for the bots so that people can see a move when they call for it like it did for the T7 frame data bot

Button icons instead of notation

I think it would be best if we could have the icons somewhere in the move list instead of the notation. It would be clearer for beginners. I don't mind going over a move list and manually adding the icons or something but I don't know how to integrate them in the current format we have for the move lists.
