Marduk is one of the most explosive characters in Tekken. He is best known for his high damage, brutal mix ups, some of the best throws in the game, and ability to steal rounds. He has great oki allowing him to continue the pressure after combos and his solid pressure allows him to break down even the most defensive of turtles.
Strengths
- Very high damage off of combos, lows, mids, punishes, and so on
- Powerful throws and 50/50's capable of stealing rounds within seconds
- Terrifying oki from ground throws and ground-hitting moves, as well as many ways to set up oki from combos
- A hard-to-break tackle that leads to a 3-way mix up
- Amazing range on his i15 launcher leading to horrifying whiff punishes
Weaknesses
- Weak poking
- Sub-par defensive options
- Best moves are somewhat slow
- Higher than average execution on some important combo routes
- Below average sidestep
- Some characters have higher-damage options against him
- Very bad jab hitbox can lead to his jab getting evaded easily by smaller characters
