Alisa seems like a pretty run of the mill female Tekken character at first glance - good at medium range, good backdash and side step - but the cyborg has some tricks up her sleeve. Chainsaws, in fact. Her Destructive Form (DES) stance gives her two chainsaw arms that do insane chip damage, which only get more powerful in Heat.

She thrives when lingering just outside range 1. To maximize her capability, strong defensive movement is required in the form of backdash canceling and sidestepping. Her array of frustrating pokes, coupled with this great movement, gives her the ability to confidently whiff punish with moves like f+2,1, uf+2, or wr2, which can also be used to transition into DES. While running inputs are even easier in Tekken 8, allowing Alisa to more easily hit her crucial while running input on wr2.

Her Dual Boot (DBT) stances is nothing to sneeze at either, giving her even more access to very damaging, if not a bit slow, moves to further pack on the pain. While she can have a hard time making comebacks happen against more patient players due to her somewhat poor damage and risky big damage moves, leveraging her great movement and oppressive DES form can let her hang with the best of them.
