Reina is an aggressive Mishima who can quickly approach and start applying pressure with her varied toolkit. Boasting multiple stances and an ability to force advantageous situations, Reina can efficiently pressure and mix up her opponents.

Strengths
  • Mishima: Reina's heritage gives her access to classic techniques such as the wave dash, Electric Wind God Fist, hellsweep, left and right Splits Kicks, 1,1,2, etc. which give her a commanding offense.
  • Flexible Stances: Reina's mixup stances (SEN, WRA) and movement stances (WGS, UNS) can transition into each other, allowing her to flow between offense and defense at any time.
  • Mobile Pressure: Reina can duck under highs with her rolling Ouhen Manji Geri roll. Her Senshin-Zuki flip stance similarly allows her to dynamically approach, and both moves give her excellent options when coming out of them.
  • Heat Smash Double Up: Reina is one of a few characters with two Heat Smashes: A powerful mid and a dangerous low while in Heaven's Wrath (WRA).
  • Flexible and Diverse: Reina's huge movelist gives her similarly huge versatility. She can effectively wall opponents out or go for oppressive, multilayered offense.
Weaknesses
  • Lows are mediocre and offer little reward for their high risk. Her Hellsweep does not knockdown like the rest of the Mishima's for example, though it does allow her to transition into her mixup stances.
  • Cash In: Many of Reina's techniques set up for bigger damage later, or lead to good situations, instead of directly dealing damage.
